Conditions of Hire

Equipment is hired under our "General Conditions for Hiring of Equipment", approved by the Hire Association Europe whose code of practice we follow. Copies available upon request.

Deposits
A deposit is required for each piece of equipment hired. This may be paid by Master Card, Visa, Switch/Delta or cheque with a bank guarantee card. Some deposits may only be paid by Credit Card.

Identification
We require hirer's to produce two forms of identification, such as a drivers licence, utility bill or similar personal document confirming your details.

Hire Rates

1 Day Hire = up to 24 hours (Minimum Hire Rate)

2 Day Hire = from 24hrs up to 48 hours

Weekend rates apply from 3.00pm Friday to 10.00am Monday.

1 Week Hire = from 3 to 7 Days.

For hires longer than 1 week, each extra day is charged at 1/5th of the weekly rate.

Hire Consumables

Abrasives, Oils, Discs, Saw Blades etc. are supplied on a sale or return basis, so you only pay for what you use.

Delivery

Delivery charges are extra, and levied according to the distance travelled.

Account Customers

Trading terms are nett monthly from date of invoice. (i.e. June invoices must be paid on or before the end of July)

Cleaning

A charge may be made if equipment is returned in a dirty condition.

Minimum Hire Charge

The minimum invoice value for account customers is £5.00

Safety

Please take care when using hire equipment. Instructional leaflets are supplied. These should be read carefully. Always wear protective clothing. We supply goggles, masks, ear defenders and gloves. Please use them.

VAT

All prices are subject to VAT at the current rate.

Customer's Responsibility

The customer is responsible for the safe-keeping of all hired equipment, for daily maintenance, and correct use of all equipment. Any equipment lost or damaged will be charged for at full replacement cost. Insurance cover is your responsibility from the time of collection to the time of returning the equipment to the shop
