HTF - Orbital Finishing
Sander
For all level floors or for
re-finishing previously sanded floors. Ideal for the new
veneered type wooden flooring where a less aggressive sander

Tips On Hiring and using
Floor Sanders
Machine Hire
Before you hire any equipment you
will get the best value out of hiring if you have everything ready
first. e.g. have all furniture moved first, knock down any nails or
tacks that are protruding and vacuum the floor.
Dust
Our machines use either a
disposable paper bag system or cloth dust bag which gives virtually
dust free operation, but as with all sanding operations there will
be a degree of dust produced.
Abrasives
The sheets for the Floor Sander
are quite expensive so make sure the sheets are tight on the drum,
lower the machine slowly on to the floor, use as fine a grade as you
can, so as to not sand too much too soon. All abrasive sheets and
discs are available on a sale or return basis.
Floor Coatings
We recommend and stock
Rustins Acrylic Floor Finish in
Satin or Gloss finish. It has good wearing properties, is easy to
apply, has no smell, does not yellow, is environmentally friendly
and you can wash your brushes out in water afterwards. We strongly
recommend this product and what's more we keep it in stock. Best
applied liberally with a man made fibre brush.
