Kentec Tool Hire Ltd has been established for over 30 years providing plant, tool and equipment hire, training and safety products to the commercial, industrial, construction, and 
domestic market.

We are pleased to announce that due to our continued commitment to customer service we have recently been award the Passionate Hirer Award – 2011.
Kentec won through from a shortlist of five finalists nominated by Show Visitor Campaign Manager, Steve McKenzie, who visited 359 hirers the length and breadth of the UK and Eire, telling them about the Show and travelling 14,162 miles in the process. His choice was based on those who showed special qualities that made them stand out even more as being genuinely passionate about the hire industry, and committed to high standards of service and quality.
Unlike some other Awards, the subsequent judging process was based on measurable criteria including mystery shopper visits, customer and supplier feedback, telephone and personal manner of staff, workshop and technical facilities, and were independently assessed.
Kentec achieved 59 out of a possible maximum 70 points. The Award citation said that "The company demonstrates an exceptional degree of professionalism in all aspects of its business. It is customer-focused and driven by a desire to give excellent service. Customer satisfaction and loyalty is particularly strong due to the high reliability of its fleet and adherence to delivery times. Kentec is a first class hirer serving its local community.
